Spiritual Beings Project Peace
“However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived
the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.”
–1 Corinthians 2:9-12
In a Christian discipline we should know that we are all one with God. We are spiritual beings robed in flesh. We are made in the image and likeness of God. We are not the Capital “G” but we are the little “g”. This is not blasphemy as it can be found in the scriptures: Psalm 82:5-8 (KJV), “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.” Being a little god means that you espouse the qualities of God rather than ego. Only when we release spiritual amnesia will we remember who we really are. We must acknowledge that we are spirit beings this is how we commune with God; via our spirit nature. It is through our spiritual awareness that God can reveal truths to us.
This spirit nature of ours is also how we can discern the spirit of another. “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” –Hebrews 4:12 Judging someone by appearances is not the way of God; only with spiritual discernment can we see the truth of a person. True discernment does not come from the world but through our relationship with the Lord. Discernment does not occur from past pain but from the Love of Christ. The word of God reveals the truth with help from the Holy Spirit that is in and as God; the mouthpiece of God.
There would be less anger, finger-pointing, judgment and rejection if we discern one another through the Holy Spirit. If we rely more on our spiritual nature instead of worldly concepts there would be peace in the earth.
